Check pixels and file size separately
A requirement like 300×300 pixels tells you the photo dimensions. A requirement like maximum 100KB tells you the file size. One does not automatically guarantee the other.
Use the right crop
If you have a portrait photo but the form requires a square, crop to the required composition first. Stretching an image may distort faces and signatures.
Resize your image
- Open the image resizer.
- Upload your JPG, PNG, or WebP photo.
- Enter the required width and height, in pixels.
- Keep aspect ratio selected for proportional resizing, or uncheck it only if you explicitly need different proportions.
- Download and verify the output file properties.
What if the website still rejects my image?
Read the exact error. Check the extension, allowed format, pixel dimensions, and KB size. Use the image compressor if your image is still too large.
